2020
ADOPTED FEBRUARY 2020, Jax, a 17 year old Yellow Collared Macaw. He was recently surrendered due to a change in his family's living situation. We are still getting to know him, but Jax is clearly a clown. He’s funny, smart and playful. He is very much like a macaw, just in a snack-sized package! Kiwi and Lyla were adopted January 2020. They are a bonded pair of green cheek conures, they both are somewhere around 2 to 3 years old. They love to be together and spend a lot of time grooming each other. Both birds will “step up” on to your finger if the person handling them is confident and calmly mannered.
Oliver was adopted in January 2020. He is a 40+ year old (gender pending) Congo African Grey. Oliver was surrendered due to his elderly owner entering a nursing home. His family took Oliver in and got him a complete vet check-up before his surrender so that he would have a fresh new start for the next 40 years! Oliver has been converted to a pellet diet and enjoys a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Oliver loves human attention and head scratches.
ADOPTED FEBRUARY 2020, Scooby is a 13 year old male Eclectus who enjoys a specific healthy Eclectus diet. He seems to enjoy "chatting" with other feathered pals in his foster home, so his future owner should have a parrot friend or two! He has been a long-time plucker, but we're hopeful that a change in environment may curb his plucking behavior.
Bert & Ernie were adopted February 2020 and are a pair of bonded male cockatiels. Once settled in, their true personalities started to shine! They love singing, playing in their cage, and eating chop in the morning.
ADOPTED MARCH 2020 - Meet Jelly Bean (yellow) and Angel (yellow/green)! Jelly Bean had a rough start to life when she suffered a broken back, which healed improperly, leaving her slightly crocked. But that doesn’t stop this adorable girl!
ADOPTED APRIL 2020 - Chicken Little is a 30+ year old, wild caught female Goffin's Cockatoo. She warms up quickly when she is comfortable with you and loves head scratches. She has been on a great diet and has dance moves most would be envious of!
ADOPTED APRIL 2020, Rio and Juice are a pair of bonded male budgies around 1 year old. They love to chatter and hang out with each other all day. We are still getting to know their personalities but boy are they adorable!
ADOPTED APRIL 2020 - Totter-Bird is a 6 yr old female parakeet that is hand-tamed that loves people and other parakeets (female parakeet friends only). She is very sweet and interactive.
ADOPTED APRIL 2020 - Meet Bianco! He’s a 19 year old Lesser Sulfur Crested Cockatoo. He likes a lot of attention from ‘his male person’ and loves to be in the middle of the action from his play-stand rather than sitting in your lap. He’s getting more comfortable everyday and loves head scratches from his person.
ADOPTED MAY 2020 - Sonny is an 11 year old Dusky Conure. He is an absolute love and snuggle bug with the woman(en) he chooses to bond with. His only fault is that he then believes that you are his and becomes territorial over the person.

ADOPTED JUNE 2020 (with Kiwi) - Rico is a male Ringneck Parrot. He has come a long way from nervous to being interested in engaging with people (hands are still a little scary). With more time and trust, he will step up as well. He LOVES other birds an eagerly walks over to interact with them - so we would like another bird to be in the home with him.
ADOPTED JUNE 2020 (with Rico) - Kiwi is an adult sun conure. He does well with a confident person who he learns can be trusted. Kiwi is very sweet and comes out of his shell in the right environment. He loves other conures for company so we would like another bird to be in the home with him.
ADOPTED JUNE 2020 - Perry is a 12 year old male Senegal. We are still getting to know Perry who is getting more comfortable and has not plucked any feathers since being in his foster home. Typical to the breed, Perry loves his swing! He eats well but can be a little timid. With patience, Perry could make a great pet for the right person.
ADOPTED JULY 2020 - Alex and Cleo are a mated pair that love to cuddle together! Cleo is the boss in the relationship and as such she likes to try everything first! They love to spend time outside of their cage, but beware because they can FLY!! Cleo will step up to get back to their cage but Alex will fly back all by himself, just like a boomerang! He has made tremendous progress and now flies to a hand as long as it has millet! Alex loves to sing to Cleo and will even preen hair!

ADOPTED NOVEMBER 2020 - Aphrodite and Apollo are brother and sister and they show their sibling love by preening each other all the time and singing! They were both severely underweight so they have been slowly recovering with a great diet and lots of care!
ADOPTED DECEMBER 2020 - Boss Bird (female parakeet) and Reggie (Dusky Conure - female) are quite the dynamic duo! They are both about 3 years old. They preen each other and cuddle.

Adopted December 2019: Green Bean is a 3 year old male parakeet. He is perfectly happy to just chill in a cage with his birdie buddies. He’s skittish and not interested in human interaction. He likes to chatter but is not overly talkative. He’s not confident so having other birdie friends would be good for him. We are beginning his treat and step up training, which with time will only improve.
Chai was adopted November 2019. He is a male, Cinnamon Green Cheek Conure, is an amazing young bird. He had a wonderful first home that gave them as much love and attention as they could, and it shows in his excitement to be around and on people. He needs some time to get used to hands, but if offered a steady arm, he will eagerly hop out to interact and be part of the family. He is curious about other birds and does not show any aggression towards other birds.
